Oral Sedation
Oral sedatives are pills or liquids prescribed by your dentist. The medication is taken orally in advance of a dental appointment. With our oral sedation, you will remain awake throughout your procedure, but the medication will provide a calming effect to help relieve any discomfort as well as anxiety you may have.
How to Prepare for Your Appointment
Listen to your dentist's instructions to ensure that you prepare yourself for sedation before your appointment. Since the oral sedative causes drowsiness, it is highly recommended that you bring someone with you to your appointment so they can safely drive you home following your procedure.
